This Shipping & Returns Policy applies to all orders placed through the website www.hortiatelier.com (the “Website”).
Delivery zone
Hortiatelier delivers exclusively within Europe.
Orders placed from countries outside Europe cannot be accepted at this time.
Shipping methods
Deliveries are carried out through trusted third-party logistics and transport partners specializing in furniture and fragile items.
Depending on the destination country and the nature of the product, delivery may be made by standard freight or specialized carriers.
Delivery is made to the building entrance or doorstep. Installation, assembly, and interior handling are not included unless explicitly stated in writing.
Delivery times
All delivery times are indicative.
Estimated delivery times depend on:
Product availability
Production time for handcrafted or made-to-order items
Destination country
Transport conditions
As products are handcrafted, certain pieces may require a production period prior to shipment. Customers will be informed of estimated timelines at the time of order confirmation.
Hortiatelier cannot be held responsible for delays caused by carriers or events beyond its control.
Shipping costs
Shipping costs are not included in the product price.
The exact shipping cost is communicated to the customer before final order confirmation and depends on:
Delivery destination
Product dimensions and weight
Shipping method selected
Receipt of goods
Upon delivery, customers are required to carefully inspect the packaging and products in the presence of the carrier.
Any visible damage or anomaly must be:
Noted immediately on the delivery receipt
Reported to Hortiatelier within 48 hours of delivery, with supporting photographs
Failure to report damage within this timeframe may result in the claim being refused.
Returns – Right of withdrawal (EU customers)
In accordance with European consumer law, customers benefit from a right of withdrawal of fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of receipt of the product.
This right does not apply to:
Customized products
Made-to-measure or made-to-order furniture
Products manufactured specifically at the customer’s request
Return conditions
To be eligible for a return, products must be:
Unused
In perfect condition
Returned in their original packaging
The customer must notify Hortiatelier of their intention to return a product before sending it back.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Refunds
Refunds are issued after receipt and inspection of the returned product.
If the returned product meets the above conditions, the refund will be processed using the original payment method, within a reasonable timeframe.
Shipping costs are non-refundable, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Damaged or defective products
In the event of a damaged or defective product, the customer must contact Hortiatelier as soon as possible at:
